Missouri Department of Transportation will be working on pavement repairs on Highway AA, outside of Alton, Missouri, from September 7, 2026, through October 30, 2026. Drivers should plan accordingly during those months.
Length of Time
The construction will take about a month and a half, starting on Monday, September 7th, through Friday, October 30th. [1] The workers will be working from 7 am to 7 pm daily weather permitting.
Construction
MoDOT will be working on pavement repairs throughout those months. Highway AA will be reduced to one lane during the construction. [2] Flaggers and a pilot car will be at the construction to help guide traffic.
Highway AA
The entire length of Highway AA will be worked on from Highway 19 to County Road 140.

Drivers who take that route will need to plan accordingly and should expect delays.
