Honoring Veterans At A Drive-Through Lunch At Alton Senior Center

Alton, Mo. – The Alton, MO Senior Center has announced that they will host a Drive-Through lunch to honor veterans. Meghan, the administrator of the Alton Senior Center, is inviting the public as well to this event.

What?

This a drive-through lunch available in Alton to honor our veterans. The Senior Center is hosting it.

When?

On Thursday, November 12, 2020, the senior center will host this veteran’s lunch. The lunch will run from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.

Who?

Meghan, representing the Alton Senior Center, is inviting the public. However, lunch for all veterans is FREE! The free lunch is a way to say thank you to all of the veterans for their service. For those who are not veterans, the price for the lunch is $6.00 for anyone under age 60, and the cost is $3.50 for those aged 60 and over.

What Is On The Menu?

We all like to know what is on the menu ahead of time. So here it is: open-faced beef, mashed potatoes, gravy, salad, Texas toast, and a veteran’s dessert.

Where?

The Alton Senior Center is located at 204 Main Street in Alton. This is off of the square, next to the post office. The center has an ample parking lot to accommodate any who want to come and participate in thsi honoring of the veterans.
