The Hutton Valley School hosted a homemade pie and ice cream social on July 4. This was a fun-filled family event for people of all ages.

When Was This?

On Saturday, July 4, between 4:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. Hutton Valley School opened its doors to the festivities.

What Was Going On?

This was a very busy evening. They hosted live music, hotdogs and hamburgers, brats, and homemade desserts. Exciting age-appropriate games and activities were arranged for children. Local politicians came and spoke briefly at 6:00 p.m.

Prior to the event, the school encouraged attendees to bring two of their favorite pies and/or a gallon of homemade ice cream for judging. If you didn’t want to compete in the contest, you could bring a dessert to share. The pies were auctioned off. The food was free. Donations were accepted. All proceeds went to benefit Neighborhood Christian Schools.
