The 41st Black Gold Walnut Festival is coming up in about a month on October 3, 2026. The Alton Chamber of Commerce is currently accepting vendor applications for the festival.
Booth Costs
There are three types of booth spaces you can get. Two parking spaces with electricity costs $60; two parking spaces with no electricity cost $50; and one parking space with no electricity costs $35.
Who Can Be a Vendor
The Chamber is looking for all sorts of vendors whether it be a business a school group a church a local entrepreneur or someone else. The only specification is that there are no yard sale or flea market items.
Walnut Festival
The 41st Black Gold Walnut Festival will be on Saturday, October 3, 2026, between 10 am and 3 pm. For vendors, booth set-up will begin at 8 am. There will be a $100 prize for the best decorated booth as well.
Application
Vendor applications are due by September 18, 2026. You can get an application on the Alton Chamber of Commerce Facebook page. Applications can be mailed to the Alton Chamber of Commerce, PO Box 141, Alton, MO 65606; or leave a completed form and payment in an envelope marked “Walnut Festival” at the Alton Bank in the care of Kelly Haddock.
