Westplains, Mo. – The Heart of the Ozarks Fair will kick off on Monday, July 15 and continue until July 20, offering rides and entertainment for all ages. An annual event, the fair will be held at its usual spot at Heart Of The Ozarks Fairgrounds North Highway. 63, West Plains, Missouri 65775.  To help you get the most out of your week at the fairgrounds, we’ve compiled a schedule for you, complete with the cost of admission.
The 2019 Heart Of The Ozarks Fair will be held at the fairgrounds directly outside of Westplains, Missouri. The fair will be running for five days, with different events scheduled for each day.
Admission tickets cost $10 for an adult, $5 for children 12 through 6 years old, and anyone under six can come in free.
On Monday, July 15, the first day of the fair, there will be the Junior Market Steer, Goat, Lamb, and Swine Show at 8 a.m. At 1 p.m. there will be the Home Economics, Fine Arts and Photography Judging. At 2 p.m. there will be the Fruits and Vegetable Judging, and at 6 p.m. there will be the Dairy Cattle Show. Today there will be no grandstand activity or carnival rides.
On Tuesday the Replacement Nanny, Gilt, Ewe Shows begin at 10 a.m. At 1 p.m. the Junior Flower Show Judging will happen. At 5 p.m. there will be the Auction Cook-out, and at 6 p.m. the Market Steer, Goat, Swine & Lamb Auction will take place. From 6 p.m. until 11 p.m. Carnival Armband Night will be going on and at 8 p.m. BOA Bull Buck – Rockin’ P Rodeo Productions will take the stage.
Wednesday is $1 Day, with $1 admissions for everyone and from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. all carnival rides only cost $1. From 6 p.m. until 11 p.m. there will be Carnival Armband Night again and at 8 p.m. BOA Bull Buck – Rockin’ P Rodeo Productions return.
On Thursday Open Flower Show Judging begins at 1 p.m., at 6 p.m. Heart of the Ozarks Angus Association Special Junior Show begins, and from 6 p.m. until 11 p.m. will be Carnival Armband Night. At 8 p.m. will be Rafter H Family Rodeo.
On Friday at 10 a.m. the Junior and Open Show of Hereford and Polled Hereford, Charolais, Simmental, Limousin, Gelbvieh, and Crossbreds will begin, Showmanship will follow. The Bucket Calf Show will be at 5 p.m. and at 6 p.m. there will be the Rabbit and Poultry Show. From 6 p.m. until 11 p.m. there will be Carnival Armband Night, and at 8 p.m. there will be a Draggin Wagon Pullers Association Truck Pull.
On Saturday, July 20, there will be a Dairy Goat Show at 8 a.m. and from 6 p.m. until midnight another Carnival Armband Night will take place. At 7 p.m. J & B Promotions Demolition Derby will take place.
