Alton Florist Opens Doors After Quarantining

Alton, Mo. – The Alton Florist is gearing up for spring and Mother’s Day. Although the store has kept primarily closed during this season of quarantine, the employees are preparing for open doors on Monday, May 4, 2020. At that time, Governor Parson is instituting Phase one of Recovery. This is discussed in this article.  Despite social distancing staying in place, the store is open and no official limit as to the number of customers allowed in the store.

Who Purchases Flowers?

A note to remember is that school children will not be in school preceding Mother’s Day. Therefore, these children will Not be bringing home homemade crafts for their mothers. That being said, it is the father’s honor to make the mother of his children feel special and loved on the day. Flowers express beauty and love.

Besides the holiday, fresh flowers around the house make the indoors smell fresh. Bright colors provide a cheery atmosphere.

The Alton Florist will resume the open hours of 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Saturday hours are 9:00 a.m. until noon.  It is open daily Monday through Saturday, closed Sunday.
