Thayer, Mo. – Thayer Elementary School will once again host the annual Back to School Fair. With Oregon County Public Schools scheduled to begin on time and in classrooms, parents can begin tabulating what school supplies each student will need for the upcoming year. This event takes place on Wednesday, July 29, 2020.
Who Is This For?
The Clarity Church in Thayer, Missouri is organizing this event. All students in Oregon County- this includes Alton, Couch, Koshkonong, and surrounding areas- as well as Mammoth Spring students, are invited to come. This offer is for All students in these areas: public schooled, private schooled, or homeschooled. However, college students are ineligible.
What Do They Get?
Students are invited to pick up FREE backpacks and school supplies. This includes pens and pencils, crayons, pencil cases, notebooks, and papers. Some shoes have been available in the past on a first-come first-serve basis.
An early date for this back to school event helps parents to plan their finances. Pick up what they can and is available at the school, then shop at a local school supply distributor. Besides all that, the students can meet their classmates wham some haven’t seen for several months. Each family wants their scholars to do well in school and new supplies get each student off to a good start in the upcoming school year.
Thayer Elementary School is located at 365 Walnut Street in Thayer, Mo, right next to the local Walmart.
