Refresh by Seana Skylar is about more than just the services I offer. Of course, I love helping people feel confident and giving them a place to come for their hair, spray tans, makeup, waxing, lashes and all of the little things that make you feel good about yourself. But I also want my business to be something that gives back to the community that supports me.
I want to be involved. I want to support our schools, our local businesses, our fundraisers, our events and the people who make this community what it is. Whether that means donating services, helping with a fundraiser, showing up at a local event or finding ways to bring different businesses together, I want Refresh to be a business that participates instead of simply existing here.
One of the things I love most about a small town is that people still show up for each other. I want to be part of that. I want to see Thayer grow, but I also want to see us keep the sense of community that makes living here special.
My hope is that Refresh by Seana Skylar can grow right alongside this community and that, as it grows, I can continue finding more ways to give back, support others and be involved. Because to me, being a local business owner means being part of the community, not just being located in it.
