Alton, Mo. – Alton High School will host a mobile medical clinic on Saturday and Sunday, May 16-17, 2020. This clinic will offer free dental, vision and medical checks.

Who Is RAM?

RAM is a nonprofit provider of free medical clinics that was started in 1985.  Their mission is to prevent pain and alleviate suffering to those in need.The founders want to supply basic medical aid to people in the world’s most inaccessible areas. [1]  Serving not only in Missouri, but the clinics appear across the United States and worldwide. The operators of these clinics ask for no ID  or qualifying questions. They do ask that those desiring services to arrive as early as possible. They operate in large and small cities and after disasters.

Details About This Clinic

On May 16 and 17, 2020 the Remote Area Medical (RAM) will come to the local high school for a free clinic. This clinic hopes to serve under-served and uninsured individuals. This clinic is in need of volunteering dental, medical, and vision professionals. They also need general support personnel to volunteer their time to ensure all goes smoothly for this event.
