Don’t Let Rabies Infect Your Pet- Local Vet Holds Two Clinics In July

Alton, Mo. – Langley Animal Rabies clinic has rescheduled the rabies clinic that was planned back at the beginning of April. This was the early findings of COVID-19 and so many events were canceled or postponed. However, the Langley Animal Clinic does see a need and is reaching out to help the community.

Mammoth Spring Details

The Langley Animal Clinic will set up shop in Mammoth Spring. On Saturday, July 11, 2020, patrons can bring their pets to the Simmons Bank parking lot. Medical personnel will give aid there between 9:00 a.m. and 12:00 noon.

Alton Details

A week later, on July 18, 2020, Alton will host the rabies clinic. The Langley Clinic will set up next to the baseball field behind the Alton Elementary School. This will be at the same time as Mammoth Spring, 9:00 a.m. and noon. With two consecutive weeks holding the clinic, one can attend the clinic that best suits his schedule.

They do not require appointments. The clinic will vaccinate your dog or cat for a nominal fee. The pet also does not need to have visited the Langley clinic prior to receiving the rabies vaccination.

The clinic asks that, although this is held outdoors, you practice social distancing and follow the CDC guidelines.
