Alton, Mo. – On October 31, 2026, the Alton Chamber of Commerce had it’s Halloween trunk-or-treat. Although not many individuals showed up to hand out candy, there was a good turn-out for the costume contest and inflatable costume races.

Trunks

This year, for unknown reasons, there were only about five trunks and people handing out candy on the square. The businesses and individuals did their best, but it wasn’t enough for all the trunk-or-treaters.
