Alton, Mo. – Dr. Anthony Fauci, Director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, did not wear a mask for an interval of time that is in dispute at the opening day of the Major League Baseball Season between the Washington Nationals and the New York Yankees at Nationals Park in Washington D.C., where he threw the first pitch.

Masks For Thee But Not For Me

Tucker Carlson of Fox News brought up the fact that Dr. Fauci was not wearing a mask on his show on July 24, 2020. At the end of the video, Tucker Carlson stated— “Masks for thee, but not for me,” [1]

No Mask. Caught On Camera.

Dr. Fauci was sitting with his wife and a close friend who were not social distancing “5 feet apart” while they were sitting together. Fauci was photographed at the ball game not wearing a mask; he instead, with the mask under his chin, was holding his phone and talking with his friend.

Fauci Defends Himself

Fauci defended his action on “America’s Newsroom” and said, “that he had been sitting next to his wife, Dr. Christine Grady, and a very close friend of his.” “I had my mask around my chin. I had taken it down. I was totally dehydrated and I was drinking water trying to rehydrate myself,” he added.  [2]
