Thayer, Mo. –The Thayer Bobcats football team went up against the Ava Bears at the Thayer High School football field on Friday, October 9, 2020. The Bobcats wanted the win and got it.
First Half
In the first quarter, the Bobcats got the only points. In the second quarter, Thayer got two touchdowns. The score at halftime was 21-0 with the Bobcats in the lead.
Halftime
The Thayer High School marching band performed for the fans at halftime, along with the cheerleaders and color guard.
Second Half
Ava fumbled the ball with two minutes left on the clock, and Thayer recovered it. The Bobcats got another touchdown. The Bears tried to come back, but they only got one touchdown. The final score was 43-6, with the Bobcats winning.
Next Opponent
The Bobcats are now 5-1 with their record. They will play against St. Pius X Lancers on October 16, 2020. Make sure you be there to cheer the teams on.
