Lots of events happened in July of 2022, and lots of events are going to happen in August. The main event in August is the Primary Elections.

The Missouri Primary Elections happened yesterday August 2, 2022. Alton, Missouri, citizens got out and voted for who would represent them.

August 2, 2022, was Missouri’s primary election day. Only 2,023 registered voters (28.36%) showed up to cast their ballots.

U.S. representative district 8 has elected Jason Smith to represent us in Congress. He is casting votes to protect our freedoms.

Missouri’s Attorney General Schmitt stood up against unlawful pressure by the FBI. He has not halted in the work.

AltonMo.com is promoting voting and local businesses together. Currently, a contest is underway. Anyone who is over the age of 18.

Oregon County has seven polling stations. Tracy Bridges, our county clerk, has given us this list. Polls are open from 7:00 am until 7:00 pm.
