Are you thinking about chocolate? Whether you want a nibble or a large cake, Christos House is working for you! Christos House has announced the date for its annual Chocolate Festival, which will be held on May 10th. Here is everything you need to know.
Festival
Chocolate lovers can enjoy a wide selection of tasty treats from professional and amateur chocolatiers alike. You can join others and donate your chocolate specialty. The entry form is here: 2025.2_Entry-Form. The aromas fill the room! A tasting competition will be held, and prizes will be presented to the contestants during the festival.
When Is This?
Mark your calendars for Saturday, May 10, 2025, between 12:00 pm and 4:00 pm. A silent auction will be held during the event, as well as a live auction at 1 p.m. Besides tasting the delights, you can bid on a chocolate treat to take home.
Cost?
This event is open to everyone. The entry fee is $10. However, children ages ten and under can get in for free with adult supervision. The entry fee comes with 15 tasting tickets that attendees can use to sample any of the available chocolate treats. Additional tickets can be purchased for one ticket for $1 or six tickets for $5.
Proceeds?
All funds raised will support the Christos House Domestic and Sexual Violence Shelter and the Christos House Outreach program. Christos House serves and supports domestic and sexual violence victims and their families in Carter, Douglas, Howell, Oregon, Ozark, Shannon, Texas, and Wright counties.
Where Is This Happening?
This year’s festival will be held at the First United Methodist Church, 503 West Main Street in West Plains.
