H.R. 1526

This House resolution limits the ability of a single district judge to issue a nationwide injunction, prohibits U.S. district courts from issuing any orders providing for injunctive relief that are broader in scope than restricting the actions of a party before the court concerning the party seeking injunctive relief.  Representative Smith voted in favor, and it did pass.

H. Con. Res 14

This action establishes the reconciliation framework to allow Congress to pass President Trump’s bill to lower taxes for working families and small businesses, secure our border, and unleash American energy. Representative Smith voted in favor, and it did pass.

S.J. 18

This nullifies the Biden Consumer Financial Protection Bureau’s (CFPB) misguided rule imposing a government-mandated price cap on banking services. H.R. 586

This resolution requires the VA to carry out a study on the prevalence of bile duct cancer in Vietnam-era veterans. It passed, and Representative Smith voted in favor of it.
