The Alton High School Baseball Team is hosting its Second Annual Alton Comets Baseball Alumni and Friends Softball Fundraiser on Saturday, October 11, 2025, at 5:00 PM.
Time and Place
The game will take place at the Alton High School Baseball Field on October 11, 2025. Registration will be between 4:00-4:30 PM, with the first pitch at 5:00 PM.
Activities
The main event will be a fun, co-ed, slow-pitch softball game. The baseball team is also planning on concessions, a 50-50 drawing, and a home run derby for the kids. The winner of the home run derby will take home half of the entry fees, and the other half will go to the baseball team. There will also be pulled pork, burgers, hot dogs, and much more! [1]
Playing
There is no entry fee to play in the game, but you can give a donation. The two highest donors will be the team captains and they will draft the teams after everyone is registered. Although it’s not set in stone, there may be a special “prize” for the winning captain. [2]

Fundraiser
This entire event is a fundraiser for the high school baseball team. The more people that can be involved in the activities or just watching, the better the fundraiser.
