Update (10-16-25): Due to the forecasted storms for Saturday, the turkey shoot has been moved to Sunday, the 19th, at noon.
The Rover Volunteer Fire Department Turkey Shoot will be Saturday, October 18, 2025, at the Rover Gun Club.
Target shooting will be from 10:00 am until noon: 22’s, splatter board, handgun, high power rifle (no high power rifle larger than 30 cal). $3.00 entry fee for each event with cash payback.
There will be a raffle drawing for a Savage semi-automatic 22 stainless steel rifle. Tickets are $1 each or 6/$5.
Trap shooting will start at noon: trap & buddy trap, Annie Oakley to end the day. $3.00 entry fee for each event with cash payback. Shooting will take place in both trap fields.
Receive a ticket for each entry for door prizes. Drawings will be done periodically. Must be present to win.
Concessions will also be available: hot dogs, brats, chili, soda, coffee, snacks.
