The new school year is quickly approaching and with that comes all the thoughts of school supplies, school clothes, and everything else that comes with it. Thayer, Missouri, is once again having its back to school drive, with this year the day falling on August 10, 2026.
Day and Location
The back to school drive will take place on Monday, August 10th, between 5:30 and 7:00 pm. [1] The drive will be at the Thayer Elementary School Gym.
The Drive
There will of course be school supplies, including backpacks, at the back to school drive but there will also be hair cuts, hot dogs, popcorn, and other things. Heather Bryant with Bryant Graphs and Crafts LLC will also be there to take free back to school pictures. [2] Everything at this event will be free.
Who Can Come
Any school age kid is welcome to come to stock up on school supplies. You don’t have to attend Thayer’s schools: you can be from any of the area schools, private schooled, or homeschooled.
