After taking last year off, Myrtle, Missouri, is once again having its Yester-Daze festival. This year it falls on Saturday, September 26, 2026.
Food
Breakfast and lunch will be available by donation. Breakfast will be pancakes and sausage and lunch will be BBQ pork, tacos, and hot dogs. All proceeds will go to the Myrtle Volunteer Fire Department.
Contests
Various contests will be held throughout the day. An amateur photo contest will be held with two categories: Myrtle Through the Generations and This Is America. There will also be a pie contest, sour dough contest, and a canning contest. In the afternoon, there will also be a rib-eating contest.
Car Show and Parade
The car show will be in the morning with judging beginning at 9 am. The parade line-up will also be at 9 am.
Other Activities
The whole day is full of events including horse pitching, cornhole, quilt show, silent auction, wood events, kids games, mule jumper show, women’s chore relay, power wheels race, pedal tractor pulling contest, chicken chase contest, and a tug-o-war contest. [1]

Date and Location
Myrtle’s Yester-Daze will be on Saturday, September 26th between 7 am and 3 pm. All the events will take place in downtown Myrtle.
