The Farmer’s Daughter in Thayer, Missouri, is hosting a second Spring Foraging Workshop: Medicinal Plants of the Ozarks. This class will be on May 20, 2026, in the evening. Spots are limited so make sure to register as soon as possible!
Time and Location
The Spring Foraging Workshop will be on Wednesday, May 20, 2026, between 6:00 pm and 7:30 pm. [1] The class will be at the Farmer’s Daughter located at 907 Front Street in Thayer.
The Workshop
At the workshop, attendees can learn about and try local medicinal herbs that can be foraged in the area. Magic Keller, a local herbalist, will lead the class and bring live plant examples as well as herbal medicines. Keller will also give information on how to find good herbal guidebooks as well as how to get started making herbal remedies. [2] There will also be a chance to ask questions during the workshop.
Who Can Come
This class is fun and profitable for all ages. One also doesn’t have to be a citizen of Thayer to participate.
