Thayer, Mo. – Thayer has announced the date and events surrounding their 250th celebration of our nation’s birthday. The Thayer Chamber of Commerce, K-Kountry 95, The Train, The Gift, and K-LOVE have teamed up for a HUGE 4th of July celebration! And the public is invited.
What Can We Expect?
Fireworks, of course, can be expected! Live music will be broadcast. Between music numbers, Air Evac plans on making a stop. There will be skydivers, food vendors, games, a contest, and an enormous fireworks display! There will be free watermelon while supplies last. This is the largest display in the area.
Where Will This Be?
The fireworks celebrations and festivities are held at the Thayer High School football field. It is a large place that can hold everyone.
When Is This?
In keeping with the signing of the Declaration of Independence, our nation’s 250th birthday will be commemorated on Saturday, July 5, 2026. Live music begins at 5:00 pm.
Who Can Attend?
This is open to EVERYONE! There is no charge to celebrate. This is a family-friendly event. Come. Bring everyone from babies to grandparents. Celebrate our nation’s birthday with family and friends.
