Junk in the Trunk Brings Bargains to Alton Square Today

Alton, Mo. – Today, the Alton Culture Club is hosting its second Junk in the Trunk yard sale event on the Alton square ^[1]. Shoppers can browse for bargains in the beautiful weather until 2 p.m.

Approximately 12 booths are set up around the square. Vendors are offering a wide variety of items. Shoppers can find everything ranging from clothes and books to tools. Food trucks are also welcome at the event ^[2].

The club decided to hold this event after their first Junk in the Trunk in May 2026 was a huge success ^[3]. The cost to reserve two parking spaces for a booth is $10. Vendors checked in at S&S Fabric to find their booth spaces ^[4]. All proceeds from the booth spaces go directly to the Alton Culture Club.
