Thayer, Mo.- The Thayer Bobcats junior varsity girls and boys and the varsity boys went up against the Izard County Cougars on Monday, December 18, 2023, at the Thayer High School. All three Bobcat teams won their respective games.
JV Girls
The junior varsity girls teams were evenly matched. For the majority of the game, the Bobcats led. The final score was 57-27, with the Lady Bobcats winning.
JV Boys
Throughout the entire game, the Bobcats and Cougars traded the lead back and forth. In the last seconds of the game, the Bobcats managed to get the lead by three points. The final score was 31-29, with the Bobcats winning.
Varsity
During the entire game, Thayer led. At the end of each quarter, the Bobcats were leading at least by ten points. The final score was 70-53, with Thayer winning.
