Our Alton Senior Center is dedicated to helping our elderly. The senior center is hosting a winter clothing drive.

On September 9, 2022, the Thayer Bobcats went up against the Liberty (Mtn. View) Eagles at the Eagles football field. The Eagles won 62-16.

The Alton Chamber of Commerce met on September 6, 2022, to finish planning for the Walnut Festival which will happen on October 1, 2022.
