Not too many events happened in August and not a lot are happening in September of 2022. Check out the events that will happen.

Thomasville, Mo, is having a Labor Day celebration on September 3, 2022, at the Community Center. Lots of activities and food are planned.

The Alton, Missouri, Senior Center has their menu and activities out for September 2022. They have a variety of delicious menu items planned.

The Alton, Mo, Burger Palace is blacktopping their parking lot and renovating their dining room. They plan on reopening on September 1, 2022.

The scenic Missouri group has submitted a proposal to MODOT to create a system of scenic byways which cross through 11 counties.

The 2022-2023 school year has come. The Thayer Bobcats high school football schedule has come out. Get out and cheer them on!

The Alton Chamber of Commerce met August 25th. Although a few items were brought to the discussion, the main subject was the Walnut Festival.

The BB Road Volunteer Fire Department is hosting a mouth-watering barbecue dinner. The public of all ages is invited.

The University of Missouri is making an offer to senior citizens that’s almost too good to pass up. They can attend fall classes.

Governor Parson announced that he called for a special session of Congress to make historic tax cuts for every income bracket in Missouri.

Because of bell ringers and charitable donations, money is coming back to Alton. A Salvation Army donation has been made.
