Alton, Mo. – The Alton City Council met on December 8, 2025, for their monthly meeting. Some of the topics talked about were a new technological business, SBA disaster relief loans, new mulch for the park, and new tornado sirens, among other things.
Business
Jamie Barton came and discussed his new technological business, Expert Tech. If the city needed new cameras, radios, body-cams, laptops, or other things, Barton would supply the city with those needs for a price. Barton also said hat if the city had any problems with their computers, he could troubleshoot it for them.
Disaster Relief
Mitchell Thierry also spoke at the city council meeting. He came to talk about how the SBA disaster relief loans, from the floods and tornado in the spring, were due December 22nd.
Mulch
Another topic that was brought up was the fact that new mulch needed to be bought for the park.
