This Saturday, December 13, 2025, is proving to have several events planned for the Christmas season. All the events are in Thayer, Missouri, and Mammoth Spring, Arkansas.
Thayer
Thayer is having three events going on, one during the day and two at night.
Cake Decorating
The Farmer’s Daughter is hosting a cake decorating class, with one class starting at 10:30 am and the other starting at 1:30 pm. [1] All the supplies will be provided. The cost is $35 per person.
Christmas on Chestnut
Thayer’s Annual Christmas on Chestnut and Tree lighting will be from 4:30 pm to 7:30 pm on Chestnut Street. There will be music, sleigh rides, train rides, sweet treats, giveaways, and photos with Santa. [2]
Christmas Lights
The Echoes of the Past Village is having its live nativity, carolers, and Christmas lights drive-thru on Saturday between 6:00 pm and 8:00 pm. [3] The cost is $5 per car. Proceeds go to the Ministerial Alliance to help the community.
Mammoth Spring
Mammoth Spring is having a Railroad Christmas. The event starts at 5:30 pm and will go until 7:30 pm. There will be a craft village, Christmas Light Lake Hike, craft vendors, carolers, touring of the train depot, pictures with Santa, and Polar Express reading. [4] The cost is by donation with the donation being one or more new toys per family.
