Alton, Mo. – Are you ready for fresh farm produce? Handmade items? Yummy baked treats? While winter is taking a long time to leave Alton, the Oregon County Farmer’s Market is ready to open for the 2023 season! This Saturday is the date and the time is 9-noon.

When Is It Open?

The Oregon County Farmer’s Market in Alton is open each Saturday from May 6 through the fall months. The sellers are set up by 9:00 am to persuade buyers to purchase their goods. They stay until noon or until they run out of items to sell.

Where Is The Farmer’s Market?

The Oregon County Farmer’s Market is at Tucker Creek Park. Vendors set up canopies along the walking trail. This is the park next to First Baptist Church on Highway 19 South.

What Do They Sell?

Vendors sell various items ranging from fresh produce to meat and eggs, homemade sewn items, and wood crafts. Some Saturdays, you may even find animals like dogs or ducks for sale. The items for sale do change from week to week.

Who Can Attend?

The farmer’s market is open to the public. There is no charge to attend, and all ages are welcome. A large field behind the canopies is inducive to running for the children.
