Alton, Mo. – Longtime local resident Steve Simmons has been diagnosed with cancer. Local businesses are collaborating to hold a gun raffle to aid in covering expenses incurred at this time.

What Is Happening?

Steve Simmons, from Alton Auto Parts, has been diagnosed with cancer. Three businesses are joining forces as a means of gaining funds to help cover the high medical expenses incurred for treatment. The Alton Bank, Young’s Feed, and Alton Auto Parts are selling raffle tickets. They are raffling an American tactical Milsport AR-15 chambered in 5.56.

These tickets are on sale for $1 each or 6 tickets for $5.

Additional donations for this event are accepted. The drawing for this gun will be held On Saturday, September 10 at the end of the day.
