Saturday, October 25, 2025, there are several events happening in Alton, Myrtle, and Thayer, Missouri. To plan your day to hit the most events, here’s what’s happening on the 25th.
Alton
Alton is having three events going on. Court Square Cafe is having its Farmers Fest and 3 year anniversary between 3:00 pm and 6:00 pm. There will be a speaker panel, live music, free birthday cake, and discounts on all food purchases.
Methodist Church
The Alton United Methodist Church is having a community youth event at the church between 5:00 pm and 7:00 pm. There will be music, dessert, and fun for youth. If it rains, the event will be moved inside.
Tree of Life
The Tree of Life Church on Highway P is having a fall fellowship on the 25th as well. There will be food, music, hayrides, and fellowship. The event will start at 5:30 with food and will last until after 7:00 pm with hayrides.
Gunnar’s Funeral
Gunnar Kennedy’s funeral will also be on Saturday. It will be at the Alton High School Gym with the funeral starting at 3:00 pm.
Thayer
Thayer is also having a couple of events happening on Saturday. The Thayer Farmer’s Market is having a Fall Event Day between 9:00 am and 2:00 pm in the parking lot of Pizza Inn and Dairy Queen. There will be vendors, contests, and games.
In Her Shoes
Another event happening in Thayer is the In Her Shoes event which will be at the Christian Activity Center between 1 pm and 4 pm. Participants move, act, think, and make choices as a person experiencing an abusive relationship.
Mammoth Spring
Mammoth Spring is hosting its annual Spooktacular event Saturday evening between 3 pm and 6 pm in downtown Mammoth Spring. There will be candy, games, hay rides, bounce houses, costume contest, pumpkin pie eating contest, food vendors, and bingo.
Thomasville
The Thomasville First Baptist Church is hosting a “Falling for Jesus Wiener Roast and Fellowship” on October 25th. It will start at 5 pm at the church.
Myrtle
Update (10-24-25): Due to the rain, this has been rescheduled to to November 8th.
The final event happening on Saturday is the haunted hayride at Myrtle. The first hayride will start at 7:30 pm at the Myrtle Fire Department. There will be hayrides, food, desserts, and fun.
