Mammoth Spring, Arkansas, and Thayer and West Plains, Missouri, are getting into the Christmas spirit. Each city has a Christmas parade this Saturday, December 9, 2023.
Mammoth Spring
Mammoth Spring’s parade will start at 6:00 pm on Main Street. Multiple prizes will be given out, including best-decorated horse, best decorated ATV, best hotrod, and best float, among other things. [2] You do not need to pre-register to participate in the parade.
Thayer
Thayer is also having their parade on December 9th. Both Thayer’s and Mammoth Spring’s theme is “Hot Rod Christmas.” Thayer’s parade line-up will be at the high school at 1:00 pm. [3] The parade will start at 2:00 pm.
West Plains
Another area city having its Christmas parade this Saturday is West Plains. Their parade will start at 4:00 pm and will make its way downtown. The theme is “The Joys of Christmas.” Entry forms for the parade can be picked up at the chamber office on Jefferson Avenue. [4]
