Willow Springs, Missouri, is hosting its annual “I Ran from the Cops 5K” race on September 12, 2026. Half of the proceeds will go toward the Willow Springs Police Department.
Races
The main feature of the races is the 5K run. There will also be a one mile walk and a one-mile fun run for kids ten and under. [1]
Cost
The cost for the race is $30; if you want a t-shirt, the cost is $40. [2] To make sure you get the t-shirt, registrations must be received by August 28th. The fun run run is free unless participants want a t-shirt, then the cost is $10.
Registration
To register for the races, you can go here. If you want to do it the day-of, registration will open up at 7:00 am on September 12th.
Awards
For those in the 5K, awards will be given to both males and females in nine age categories. [3] For the fun run, winners will be given a certificate.
Race Day
The races will be on Saturday, September 12, 2026, at 8:00 am. [4] Registration will open at 7:00 am. The race courses will go around the city of Willow Springs.
Proceeds
The 5K race is a 50/50 fundraiser for the Willow Springs Police Department and the Willow Springs Chamber of Commerce.
