An event looked forward to is the Heart of the Ozarks Fair. This year it will be from June 6- 11, 2022, at the fairgrounds in West Plains, Mo.

While yesterday, May 31, 2022, was National Smile Day, you can still celebrate it today by sharing a smile with everyone!

Another month is upon us: June of 2022. That means a new menu and new activities happening at the Alton, Missouri, Senior Center.

Kids and adults are going to be packing the pools as soon as they open. The West Plains and Alton, Missouri, pools will open on May 28, 2022.

The Alton, Mo, Senior Center is having a Picnic in the Parking Lot on May 31, 2022, from 11 am-1 pm. Food and booths will be available.

The annual Alton fireworks display is scheduled for Friday, July 1, 2022. The Alton City Hall is looking for vendors.

The Preakness Stakes took place on Saturday, May 21, 2022. Early Voting blew past Epicenter and won the Preakness by 1 1/2 lengths.

Missouri Department of Conservation has announced that it is now accepting applications for the bear and elk permits.
