Deer hunting season is once again here. The archery portion has already started. If you were wondering when the firearm and archery seasons are, along with what deer you can shoot during those seasons, here they are. [1]
Archery
Archery season is from September 15, 2025, through November 14, 2025, and November 26, 2025, through January 15, 2026. Hunters can shoot two deer of either sex during the archery portion.
Firearm
The firearm seasons are spread from October through January.
Anterless
The early anterless portions are October 10-12, 2025, and December 6-14, 2025. Only one anterless deer may be harvested during these seasons.
Youth
There are two youth portions: one from November 1-2, 2025, and one from November 28-30, 2025. The youth portion is for hunters between the ages of 6 and 15. Only one buck can be shot during the entire firearms portion.
Regular
The regular firearms portion is from November 15-25, 2025. Only one buck can be taken in the entire firearms season, and two bucks can be taken during the archery and firearm season combined.
CWD
Oregon County also has a CWD firearm portion from November 26-30, 2025.
