Thayer’s Annual Fall Festival Had Over 60 Vendors And Countless People

Thayer, Mo. – Thayer held its annual fall festival on October 11, 2025, in downtown Thayer. The festival had over sixty vendors with crowded streets all evening long.

Music

Two bands took the stage at the festival. The Papa Dubie Band performed first for an hour and a half. The Howell Family started playing at 5:30.

Food

There were a variety of food among the vendors. Big D’s BBQ was at the festival all afternoon. Various booths had food items including cookies with proceeds being donated to St. Jude’s; water; lemonade; coffees; and free smores.

Vendors

There were over sixty vendors at this year’s fall festival, with a variety of items being sold. Some of the items the vendors were selling included knives, Bobcat accessories, gnomes, shirts, hats, bookmarks, jewelry, raffle tickets for a quilt, special-shaped balloons, raffle tickets for a grill, among other things.

Games

Numerous booths had games and activities for the kids as well as adults. The Thayer FCCLA group had a car bash and a cake walk. There were train rides for the kids. One of the booths was a photo op with a small cow. Other games included a cornhole toss, Nerf gun shooting, and target shooting. A favorite for kids, teens, and adults was a ladder climbing game.
