MoDOT is going to be working on a bridge on Highway 160 in Oregon County starting in March of 2027.
Where It Will Be
The bridge that is being replaced is located approximately 3.8 miles east of Highway 19 in Alton, Missouri. The bridge goes over Cox Creek. [1]
Construction Period
The construction period could begin as early as March of 2027. Construction will take around four months.
The Bridge
A temporary bypass will be made to allow vehicles to still use Highway 160 during the construction. The new bridge will be wider than the current bridge.
