There are multiple Halloween events going on this week in Oregon County, Missouri. Most of the events are being held October 30th and 31st, 2025.
Alton
Alton is having its Trunk-or-Treat on October 31st at 5 pm. There will be trunk-or-treating, costume contests, and inflatable costume races. Prizes will be given for the costume contest and inflatable costume races.
Couch
The Couch PTO is having its annual trunk-or-treat also on October 31st between 4:30 pm and 6:30 pm. It will be between the cafeteria and the high school. Trunks do not have to be decorated and neither do trunk-or-treaters have to be in costume. There will be a $50 prize to the best decorated trunk. [1] Individuals, businesses, and organizations are welcome to participate. Trunk-or-treaters are asked to park in the high school parking lot.
Kosh
The Koshkonong School Betterment Foundation is also hosting a trunk-or-treat, but it will be on October 30th between 6:00 pm and 8:00 pm at the ball field. There will be the trunk-or-treat, Big D’s BBQ, a haunted bus, best costume, best trunk, and pumpkin carving contest. [2] If you don’t have a trick-or-treater for the event, individuals are still invited to come and enjoy Big D’s BBQ.
