Alton Trunk-Or-Treat Brings Costumes, Laughter, And Fun

Alton, Mo. – The Alton Chamber of Commerce’s Trunk-or-Treat happened on October 31, 2025. There were countless costumes, laughter all night, and fun for everyone.

Costumes

Parents, teenagers, and young kids participated in the trunk-or-treat by dressing up. Two families dressed up as characters from Star Wars and Toy Story. Some of the individual costumes worn included a tornado, a conservation agent, Mario and Luigi, Spiderman, an angel, Tinker Bell, Batman, a princess, a scarecrow, and countless others.

Inflatable Costume Races

There were two inflatable costume races: one for those under 17 and one for those over 17. Five individuals competed in the adult race wearing a Minion, Buzz Lightyear, Mr. Potato Head, a chicken, and a llama. In the 17 and under race, seven individuals competed, sporting two minion costumes, a sumo wrestler costume, a dinosaur costume, and two Among Us costumes.

Trunks

The trunk-or-treat was spread out from the Alton Florist to Young’s Produce. Throughout the entire evening, that section was almost always crowded with trunk-or-treaters. Various businesses stayed open to hand out candy, including Court Square Cafe and Farm Bureau Insurance, among others.
