Tomorrow, November 7, 2025, is the Class 1 District 3 semifinals. The four teams in the district semifinals are the Thayer Bobcats, Marionville Comets, Miller Cardinals, and the Pierce City Eagles.
Thayer Versus Pierce City
Thayer is heading into the district semifinals as the top seed, while Pierce City is the fifth seed. Pierce City defeated the Ash Grove Pirates 38-26 in the quarterfinals. [1] Since 2016 in the five games they have played against each other, Thayer has beaten Pierce City in all of them. The game will be at Louis Bozman Field at the Thayer High School.
Marionville Versus Miller
The two M teams are facing off at the Marionville High School on November 7th. Marionville has a record of 8-1, and Miller has a record of 6-4. The two teams have had six common opponents, with Marionville winning all of their games and Miller winning four of the six games. [2] The winner will advance to the district championship on November 14th.
