Highway M Will Be Closed From March 16th Through October 29th

MODOT is planning on having a busy summer in Oregon County, Missouri. One of the construction projects they’re working on is Highway M, which will be worked on from March through October.

Construction

MODOT will be replacing culverts, repairing pavement, and performing bridge maintenance throughout those months.

Time

The construction is planned to start on March 16, 2026, and will end on October 30, 2026. Each day, construction workers will be out from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm daily, weather permitting.

One Lane

Due to the construction happening, Highway M will be reduced to one lane with a 10-foot wide restriction. [1]

The planned construction will take place on Highway M in Oregon County between Highway 160 and Highway 63 near Koshkonong.
