August brings with it the start of school and the start of football season. The Thayer Mighty Mites sign-ups will be on August 1st at the Thayer Elementary.
Date and Place
The sign-ups will be on Saturday, August 1, 2026, between 9-11 am. It will take place at the Thayer Elementary School. If you can’t make it on August 1st, a second date is set for Saturday, August 15th. [1]
Cost
The cost to sign up for Mighty Mites is $50. For additional family members, the cost is $20. [2] Cash or check will be accepted. Checks should be made out to “Thayer Mighty Mite Football.”
Who Can Do It
Any child in grades third through sixth can sign up to be a Mighty Mite.
Equipment
After signing up, each child will be fitted with helmets and gear. If the child is not present, they will not be fitted with equipment.
