The agricultural manufacturing giant John Deere is planning on $20 billion in the United States in the next decade. [1]

Iowa/Illinois

At the Iowa and Illinois plants, they invested $149 million to renovate 385,000 square feet, introducing advanced equipment to produce the John Deere X9 combine in Illinois; they enlarged the sprayer assembly in Iowa by 138,000 square feet with a $40+ million investment, enhancing assembly and testing for John Deere See & Spray technology; they had a $10 million 60,000-square-foot expansion, improving workspaces and visitor experiences in Illinois.

Missouri

In Missouri, John Deere plans to expand the Reman Core Center facility in Strafford, Missouri by an additional 120,000 square feet which will cost around $13.5 million.

North Carolina

In North Carolina John Deere plans to build a new 380,000-square-foot factory in Kernersville where they will begin assembly of small excavators previously manufactured by Hitachi in Japan.

Tennessee

The last state John Deere is building in is Tennessee. Fifteen million dollars will be given for facility upgrades and new manufacturing jobs in Greeneville.
