Local Youngster Myla Woods Is 2022 Missouri Little Miss Agriculture

Myla Woods, Little Miss Agriculture

Alton, Mo. – Little Miss Myla Woods was nominated to represent agriculture across Missouri and ultimately, the nation. Although only recently graduated from kindergarten, she is already making a statement in the farming world. Here is her story.

Background

Myla Woods graduated this spring from Alton. She likes animals. At last year’s fair in Texas County, she entered rabbits, sheep, and poultry.

She was nominated for this position. Her job is to advocate for agriculture. She goes around to local events promoting agriculture. She even has the opportunity to attend the national event in Ohio next week.

Last Saturday, she made an appearance at the Alton Farmer’s Market. This week at the Heart of the Ozarks Fair in West Plains, she will show rabbits and poultry on Friday evening. She may also make an earlier appearance on Tuesday or Thursday.

Other Accomplishments

Besides being 2022 Missouri Little Miss Agriculture USA. Myla is already working on her resume. At age 5 she began participating in ARBA (The American Rabbit Breeders Association). For the 4H, she is a clover member. As young as she is, she has already been busy donating agriculture learning packets to the school. She also worked with providing blankets for the homeless.
