Benefits, Cattle Meeting, And Hay Rides This Upcoming Week

This week, there are benefit dinners, meetings, hay rides, and a fall festival planned. Come out and get involved!

Cattle Meeting

On Tuesday, October 26, 2021, the Independent Cattlemen of Missouri will have a meeting on the cattle industry. The meeting will be at the Alton school at 6:00 pm. All area farmers and ranchers are invited.

Spaghetti Dinner

A spaghetti dinner is going to be held at the Penny Loafers Cafe in Mammoth Spring, Arkansas, for the family of Carol Shauer. It starts at 5:00 pm on October 26th. The dinner is available by donation for Shauer’s family.

Hay Ride

On Wednesday, October 27, 2021, Myrtle First Baptist Church is having a bonfire and hay ride starting at 5:00 pm. There will be food. The public is invited to come and enjoy the evening. For more information, you can call 870-679-0027. [1]

Trick-Or-Treat

The Thayer High School FBLA and FCCLA students are going around town on Thursday, October 28, 2021, trick-or-treating for canned food and non-perishable items. The food they get will be donated to a local food pantry. The students will start at the school at 5:00 pm. If you want to give some food, please leave your light on. You can bring donations to the Thayer High School up until October 28th.
