Koshkonong, Mo. – On July 23, 2026, the Koshkonong Volunteer Fire Department held a celebration for a $10,000 grant they received.
Grant
The Koshkonong Volunteer Fire Department received a $10,000 grant this past week with the help of the Alton Bank. The grant will help the fire department to continue serving and protecting the people of Koshkonong. One of the things that the money might be use for is to fix some of the fire trucks.
Food
Free food was available for all the attendees. The lunch included hot dogs, popsicles, water, and a variety of cupcakes.
Sprinklers
The fire department put out sprinklers hooked up to the fire trucks for the kids to play in. The firemen even re-filled one of the smaller tanks for the kids.
