The First Amendment contains fundamental rights for every American. On July 28, 2026, a public forum will be held to dive deeper into what all the First Amendment entails.

The event will be on Tuesday, July 28th. The meeting will begin at 5:30 pm.
Location
The public forum will be held at Collins Coffee on the square in Alton, Missouri.
Public Forum
At the forum, there will be a presentation and question and answer time with the First Amendment Clinic at WashU Law. The event will include topics such as “how does [the First Amendment] apply to speech on government-controlled property like streets, parks and sidewalks?” [1]

The public is invited to come to the public forum. Whether you care deeply about the First Amendment or just want to know more about what all the First Amendment encompasses, you’re invited to come.
