The Oregon County Public Library District in Missouri has gotten a technology grant worth $20,000 from the Missouri State Library and the Secretary of State offices.
The grant money went towards twenty-four new Dell computers, which replaced the old ones in the different branches of the district: Alton, Thayer, Koshkonong, Myrtle, and Thomasville.
The old computers were given to the Couch school district to be used as they wanted.
Technology mini-grants can be given through the Institute of Museum and Library Services. This specific project is supported by the Institute.
