Alton, Mo. – One of the biggest holidays in the summer is Independence Day. For several years, AltonMo.com staff have gone to local fireworks celebrations to poll attendees and give away gift bags. This year is no different. We want to ensure that all businesses and churches that want to participate know they can.
How Does This Work?
Local businesses or churches can donate items with their names on them. We pick up the items and put them in our holiday bags. For the Fourth of July fireworks celebrations, we pass them out. The businesses and churches that donated get FREE advertising without even being present. Some of these are long-term advertising.

What Can Be Donated?
AltonMo.com will take just about anything to be donated. We do pass out gift bags. If you have a larger donation, please let us know so we can get larger bags.
In years past, businesses and churches donated pens, fans, and beach balls. They also donate lotions, jar openers, and treats. The donation is as wide as your creativity. They need not be a certain age appropriate as family members often share the bags.

Any local business or church can donate.
How Many Bags Are Given Away?
We hand out around one hundred bags.
Where Are They Given Away?
Unless something drastic happens, we pass out gift bags in Alton. Weather permitting and allowing for no overlapping times, we pass out more in Thomasville and Thayer.
