The Black Gold Walnut Festival is coming up in a couple of months on October 4th. AltonMo.com is holding its second annual photo contest at the Walnut Festival.
Categories
There will be four categories:
- Black and White: The pictures can be of anything as long as they’re black and white.
- People: It is as simple as the title- the pictures must be of a person.
- Patriotism: The pictures can be of anything patriotic, whether it’s a flag, fireworks, or people dressed up for Independence Day.
- Catch-All: If you have another picture that doesn’t fit into the previous categories, you can enter it into the Catch-All category.
In honor of the United States 250th Anniversary next year, the Patriotism category is dedicated to it.

Multiple rules are in place to ensure the photo contest runs smoothly.
